Lily celebrates Christmas

Today is a special day for Lily, it's Christmas Eve. The little girl knows that this night Santa Claus will come to her house to bring her the gifts she has dreamed of.

Tonight the whole family is gathered around a big meal. Aunt Rachel, Grandma and Grandpa, cousin Nathan and his little sister Sophie, Papa and Mum, not to mention Lily. It makes a lot of people around the table!

The little girl plays with her cousin Nathan while the older ones prepare the meal and set the table. Once everything is ready, it's time for dinner.

“So Lily, have you been good this year?” asks his granny. "Yes Grandma, and I hope Santa has seen it too!" the girl answers. “Don't worry sweetheart,” adds his grandpa, “Santa knows that”.

The little girl is reassured but still asks herself many questions. “But how does he know if the children have been good or not? And then where does Santa Claus live? How does he distribute all the gifts to all the children in the world? ”

“Whoa, that's a lot of questions Lily!” said Aunt Rachel. "What do you think?" The little girl looks at her aunt and thinks.

“I think Santa has little elves who are in charge of looking after the kids all year round,” said Lily. “And his elves also help him distribute the presents around the world.”

"It's true that he doesn't have to work alone, he couldn't do all of these things otherwise." remarks cousin Nathan.

"Yes. And then, "Lily continues," he has super-trained flying reindeer, that's why he can go anywhere and hand out all the presents in one night. "

“I’m sure he lives in a country where it snows every day, because there’s Christmas country,” Nathan adds.

“Well here are the kids,” Aunt Rachel replies, “you've answered all of your questions. And I'm sure Santa's elves reported to him that you were very good children. ” The two cousins are delighted and can not wait to discover all the gifts that will be deposited at the foot of the tree tomorrow morning.
